so as u all know i already got my bear so now i am trying to help my disabled grandpa get his. well we set out in the orchard and sure enough up on the hill is 6 bears so we are waiting for a good hour or more for them to start moving and right when they start moving out of nowhere someone starts unloading up towards the bears none were hit and we see the guy start running up the hill and see one of the cubs run up a tree and 2 mins later two shots and a bears death scream come to find out the *censored* shot a yearling cub while there were 2 boars a soe and and two more cubs around. left it in the tree and came off the hill and said he would wait for his buddy to get there and go get it while there are still 5 bear around the bottom of the tree how dumb do ppl have to be come on dont shoot a cub.

On a side note, you must have one hell of a honey hole orchard to be seeing as many bears as you have! Right on man

 .....I really believe it should be a violation to shoot any bear less than 2 years old. Was that public land? If not, maybe get them in trouble with the land owner!!

well it was on game then but u had to get permison from the owner to  get to the game land and haha if u lived closer i would

heres what i think first off the guys an idiot and here is why i think he did what he did:

i grew up in and around wenatchee and the valley and out off all the game around the valley deer, elk, salmon, steelhead, so on and so on black bears seem to be the most prized trophy i killed my first black bear about 4 or 5 years ago buddy took me to one of his spots we both filled our tags we fill atleast one tag a year around the valley and people are constantly buggin us to take them to get them a bear.

people will do really stupid chit to get highly esteemed trophies pure and simple

i asked him if ir was his first bear and he said no and then he said the boar was standing there watching him y didnt he just take the boar? idk
