Very nice! I was checking them out myself the other day. Does anybody know what the WDFW/Tribes plan is concerning the possability of giving out some special permits for the south side of the Skagit river in the future?

Rumor I hear is that a few "Ceremonial Elk" have already been popped around there.

well i guess that makes sense since there is no hunting pressure over there now ...except Master hunters and the Idians ..... HOw sweet is that sheet ?

Is that the same herd that had the "canned"elk "slaughter" in a pasture near concrete last december that gave us a HUGE black eye in the joe publics view. Very sensitive area i would think if it is.

Nope these Elk are on the other side of the river.
