My son’s first elk
« on: October 02, 2011, 10:08:27 PM »
My son Andre took this nice elk yesterday on his first ever muzzle load hunt. We drew cow tags and he got a spike bull, sweet! See that Knight DISC extreme thumbhole stock with the tru glow sights? That is a nice set up! I tried these sights out thanks to the guys on this board who highly recommended them and we really like them. I also want to give special thanks to Mike, sabotloader, for all the help he has provided for me, We had a lot of work to do to get these guns ready for Washington regs and Mike was essential in working with Knight to get these new western breach plugs made. It is an awesome feeling to see your son take a nice animal all by himself, way more rewarding than taking one myself. Heck, I don’t even care if I fill my cow tag now, have to buy another freezer if I do anyways. :chuckle:

very nice! I agree that it's much better to witness the success of you kids than to do it youself
