My first 10 point. Not a monster, but he means more to me that I can explaine. 6 day solo hunt out of the Charles and Mary Eder unit by Oroville. Beautiful area. I spotted him on day 2, watched him try to chase off a coyote that was harrasing his does. That is until 6 other coyotes emerged from the sagebrush like a swarm of bees and chased him out of the area. Needless to say he came back. 220 yd shot, 3 mile hike from camp. Two long heavy packs out with the Eberlestock. Great time.
