Overheard a 22lbs silver caught on the Stilly!

Anyone on here catch it, or know the whole story?? Thats a decent Coho for around here!

YEAH !!! I catch my share in the SKAGIT and so do my friends but 22lbs I would love to see that one  :yike:

I heard that the Indians netted a 68lb King the other day in the Skagit River in the Lyman area. :(

22 is a hog if its true. I've caught a couple pushing very close to 20 and those things will VIOLATE you! I'd love to see a pic!

My fishing buddy had arrived, just after the guy had left. There were 5 other people that saw it caught, would love to see a pic!

Holiday Sports in Burlington had a couple Coho in their freezer years ago that were 21lb & 20lbs.  Biggest Silvers I'd ever seen....

long armed for sure, but Look at the size of that adipose and the girth! :yike: its a big fish for sure but I don't think it makes 22. I could be wrong tho. :dunno:

 Using the all species fish weight calculator which I''ve found to be very accurate, I would say more like 19 -19.5lbs, based on 31" length. I hooked a wild silver at Sekiu that I had to release that was just over 36" in length. I don't think that fish is quite in that length range unless the guy in the photo is 6'4". All that said, it's a trophy fish, really great fish.

Well that is one hell of a silver !!! but he is holding it out in front of him ...anyone who loves to take pictures of sheet knows holding it out front will definately make it look huge  :yike: But I would say this fish is over 18 lbs ...awesome fish for sure .... :tup:
