Need Hunting Partner
« on: July 03, 2008, 11:50:45 PM »
I just started hunting coyotes. Just a blast, one of my favorite all time things to do. I have about 8 places to hunt. Most private land, with full permission from all the owners to hunt, and get this, "Anytime!". They are glad to see me, and always suggest to come up anytime.

The places range from 10 acres to 120 acres. Flat hay fields, to thick brush, and logging roads. All of them find coyotes a nuisance, and want me to rid their property of all of them, and to leave none behind. Very nice people. On the 8 places I have called in just 2 (why just 2?, they are elusive). I rotate back and forth from place to place. Most of the areas, the coyotes are miles away, but come into their land to hunt, daytime and night. After their hunt, they head back home, some times 5 miles away. So, they are very tricky to catch.

But, I need a partner. Someone that has hunting coyotes in their blood, that just enjoys the hunt. Someone that has plenty of time.  I am overwhelmed with places to hunt, and need more eyes.

I have a Mossberg 500 shotgun, Glock 32 and a 16" Stag, .223. Foxpro and hand calls. I shoot 55 gr berger ME, 40,50 and 60 gr Vmax's.

I live in Longview, Wa. That is just north of Vancouver, Wa about 40 miles, and 60 miles south of Olympia. I work the day shift, and have weekends off. If anyone would be interested, please email me. I have my IM's turned off. If you send me a Private Message, and after a week you don't get a response, it is because I have me IM's turned off.  :bash:

I will. I need to break away from work and have some fun. I need to sight my 243 in after having my new heavy barrel put on also.
