WA deer population decline
« on: October 19, 2011, 01:27:13 PM »
I ask any one who could answer. What would it take to get someone to transplant these garden fed city deer.  The technology is certainly available. I would love to do a little "catch and release" if I was allowed. We as a group have a voice, can we make it happen?

A WDFW that wasn't afraid of bunny huggers.  They moved a small herd of elk out of Sequim one time and relocated them along the Dosewallips.  Now days, they would be harrassed from the huggers to the point of just not doing it.  Kind of like how Olympic Park was relocating goats until they got too many complaints and lawsuits from the huggers.

I am all for predator control. Release the hounds. Back in the day wolves were eradicated for a reason. Although we could stand to have the wolves feeding on some of the stupid people out there. A little Darwinism if you will. Humans being the alpha predator we have the natural right to assert our dominance and defend our territory
