I passed a 4x5 blacktail yesterday evening because there was just no way I could have gotten it out of the creek bottom by myself. I really regret it now cause the biggest I have killed so far was a 2pt

But you gotta know your limits when it comes to recovering animals

No Ridge will bring a tub of apples and pears then he will shoot in on a slight hill.  It will die on the slight hill so he can back his truck up to the hill then he can pull the deer into the bed of his truck.
