Something else to consider, this an internet forum where nearly anyone is allowed to post opinions, thoughts, ideas, beliefs, feelings and notions. All of which often come across as fact. When you ask for answers to legal questions don't forget to verify.

 Good luck on your hunt, where ever you end up.  :tup:

Leave it to a fellow Jarhead to be the voice of reason.  ;)

Forests = good to go
Parks    = only with a camera.

 :yike: Was my first thought when I read this, Hurricane Ridge in the NP?  I kept thinking there must be another Hurricane Ridge in WA I hadnt heard of.  But, OK new to the hunting thing/ area.  I get it.  Maybe didnt do enough research before asking, but thats why the question was asked to find out.  Yep, there will be some flammers, and some helpers.  Dont feel bad, everyone has asked a crazy question :bash: before.  As stated, no hunting up at Hurricane Ridge.  Try outside the Park and you will find deer.  Get a map of the park boundry line and read the regs and go pick a spot and hunt it.  Its about getting out and exploring, which is what you were trying to do in the first place.  Good luck and post some pics, that is of a deer outside of a NP :tup: :chuckle:

Sweet Lou,
 Don't take it so hard. These guys have been out in the woods without their women for a week now so they're kinda testy.  Don't be afraid to ask. Good luck.

Enough of the bashing of the bashers.

Sweelou: with all due respect, did you know that Hurricane Ridge was in a National Park?  If you did, and didn't know it's illegal to hunt in a NP, that would be a good question to ask: "is it legal to hunt in a National Park?".

If you didn't know it's in a National Park, it would be a good first step to look at a map and locate Hurricane Ridge.  I can't imagine any map not prominently showing it.

Doing even a bit of homework first generally results in more helpful replies.
