anyone have any info on unit 250? chumstick creek to high? stay on the river side? ... or stay out of 250 all together?

I will be hunting on Ft. Drum, NY.  The deer density in the cantonment area (main post, archery only) is insane.  200 deer are in a 10 square mile area.  That's right that means there are 20 deer per square mile.  Pretty good odds.  For a newbie.  I can shoot 2 bucks and 2 does.

D-Rock I will see in the naches as well. Wall tent on the 1701 at the 517 rd. Swing by for coffee and good company.
Muley huntin for me and cow or spike hunt for my brothers. Killed a 5pt.bull in the early season. Headed out tomarrow.
Weather is in our favor. Let the snow fly. :tup:

Hopefully I can post a picture when I get  back!! This is my 3rd year bowhunting, passed quite a few doe's in previous years and not had a shot at a buck. Looking for my 1st bowkill after modern firearm hunting for 20 years and 16 bucks.
