Tagged Out
« on: October 31, 2011, 10:12:28 AM »
Headed out during the Friday monsoon to a cut that has held some deer this year and found this guy in the full mount position on a doe. I let him finish and touched one off. He just stood there! Knowing the first shot was good as I saw the 6mm hit, I let another one fly and he stumbled and rolled down to the bottom on one of the nastiest draws in my area. Got to him around 5pm and had him to the truck at 9pm. Thanks to three great friends Mitch, Ken and John for the help on the pack out!

Nice buck.  Glad you allowed him to have his last Hoorah and spread his seed before you ruined his day... Congrats

Sweet! Nice BT

Nice Buck Kelly. In retrospect, I should have taken you up on your offer to take me with you.
I managed to get a nic big whitetail doe in the 101 senior hunt. My partner Dave got one as well. Hope your kids tagged too. Congratulations. Chuck (Muskrat)

Great buck. That is the third buck this season I have heard was just basically off a doe. Bet the bucks are glad we are out of the woods for a couple weeks  :chuckle:.
