Was looking at shells online at midwayusa.com and found these Winchester PDX1 12 gauge shells and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. It's a load with a 1 oz. rifled slug behind three copper plated 00 buckshots. This seems like an "inbetween round" because if you want to hunt with it, the three 00 bucks don't have much effectiveness at slug ranges (past 50 yards), and as a home defense round, I don't know how much I would be inclined to shoot a 1 oz. slug inside my house with all of the collateral damage it would cause. Anyways, any info on the round and thoughts for a home defense round is greatly appreciated. I'm trying to decide if I should give these a chance to mix it in with the Federal Personal Protection 00 Buck with the flight control wad. Thanks!
