Blacktail buck in Issaquah.
« on: July 09, 2008, 09:42:07 PM »
My girlfriend got these pics from her porch yesterday.  The first one was from behind the screen door.  She was afraid of scaring it away before she could get any pictures.

Bucks like that are literally all over the Issaguah fall city Redmond area.  I lived in Fall city for 2.5 years while working in Issaquah and seen many incredible blackies, the area is infested with bear also, just cant handle the city had to move back up to gods country :chuckle:

Thats the area I hunt for Blackies and there are some dandies........I kicked one out of its bed that was in the 140's last year and have seen several in that range.  The entire area is under hunted and has awesome blacktail habitat.

Ditto, saw a buck in the highlands not quite as nice as that, but a good 4x4. Lot's of deer, too bad some of the conservation areas are closed to bowhunting in that area. Some of the deer are getting pushed out by development, sad to see, but there is still a good population for now.

I'm seen elk along the west lake sammamish road near the boat ramp in Issaquah...  I've also seen deer along the road in peoples yards, but nothing huge.
