First deer for me 2011.
« on: November 01, 2011, 04:19:45 PM »
On the 24th of October, me and my dad went hunting. We put some deer corn,  and smashed pumkins and apples by a stump and settled down near there. Around 6 P.M. when we were ready to leave and all of a sudden we saw 7 does coming down the hill in front of us coming towards the stump. When they got settled down it was time for me to take my pick of which one I was going to take a shot at. That was easy. The biggest one, of course! When I took a shot, I wasn't sure if it was good, although my dad said I dropped it. When we got there, surely enough there was a deer lying there.  :IBCOOL: When we searched for where I shot it at we found it went down at an angle. I shot it in part of the spine, blew up its lung and out the other shoulder. It was a good sized doe, like 50 pounds of meat. And that was my  FIRST deer!!!!
