Idaho 7x7
« on: November 02, 2011, 12:41:52 PM »
Second year in a row, me and my hunting partner (we're both college students) head up for the last week of season. Worked all summer cutting out trails, breaking in some green horses, and finding out where the bulls are at. This guy stepped out at 70 yards and the .300 Weatherby piled him up in his tracks. Easy pack out and a great hunt!

If I never saw another elk the rest of my life I'd still go live with my horses for a week every fall in the mtns, amazing how much they learn and respect you after spending days in a row with them.
