So I'm taking this year to get solid with my bow and feel good about my shots. Also trying to learn the behavior of deer better by reading and scouting more (sadly haven't seen many deer yet but can find their signs easily). Was wondering what books people might recommend to read during the off season to get better acquainted with deer? Have been looking at the "North American Deer" by Len Rue, Jr. Looks really good.
Having been the only one in my family that has really taken a shine to the outdoors I've found myself to be the one to have to figure it all out. Dad's more of a city guy. Always enjoyed hiking and getting out in the woods so hopefully this adds to the passion.
Any advice is always appreciated. Definitely plan to spend some time at Knock Point with the bow to get things dialed in better.
