Kelly did great and held out for a good buck, never once getting trigger happy. We were seeing an average of 26 bucks a day before spotting this guy first thing in the morning. He was with 6 other bucks and all of them were pushing does pretty hard. To say he was a no brainer is an understatement but when she saw how excited Charlie and I got I think she knew she didn't have to check him out too well before putting the stalk on.

She made a perfect shot and never hesitated.

Congrats again on a fantastic buck Kelly, I think it's going to take a number of years to fully understand how well you really did. Thanks for taking me along, and for the fantastic memories.

Great Job and Creative Pics.

Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5
