Velvet Blacktail
« on: July 11, 2008, 12:06:39 PM »
Was driving down my road this morning around 8am on my way home from the dump, and I look over and ther is a nice buck feeding in the tall grass. Of course, no camera with me, but he didn't seem spooked and I didn't stop to look. Got to the house, grabbed my camera and walked back up the road. He spotted me when I was about 70 yards away when I took the first picture. Then he let me get a little closer for some more shots before bounding back into the trees. I came back by around 9am on my way back to the dump, and he was back out there teasing me. Hope I see one like him in September, and I hope he doesn't get any closer to bearmanric's back yard.  :chuckle:
