I have seen used Tikkas with the recoil lug not reseated after disassembly. It looks like the barrel is "free floated" about 3/8 to 1/2 inch at the fore end. The little lug can be sorta hard to get into the slot in the barrel.

That's what I was thinking when he said his was not put together correctly.
Quite the free float...Why use a dollar bill when a whole pad of construction paper will fit down there.
