Good job!! Looks like you hunted lower in the unit. There are some big bucks in there if a person puts in the time and effort.

Definetly a trophy in my book.  I've seen a few in the Alta unit but the 3 point rule didn't allow me to shoot them.  I would not have hesitated if I had your tag!  He doesn't need to breed on either.

Thanks, I got about twice as much meat off this buck compared to deer that im used to getting, plus best of all I got to hunt in gods country, thanks for a great hunt. :)

I've seen and filmed that deer several times throughout the last couple years.   I almost used my tag on him as well.   There are pics of him alive on here somewhere.   Filmed him pretty close to where you shot him.   NICE :tup:

Yes.  He has been a two since I have seen him.   He winter ranges in wolf central, so I have always been impressed with him.   Everytime I have seen him he has been bedded, and he doesn't spook real easy, I wonder if thats the tactic since the wolves usually hunt by sight???
