Definetly a trophy in my book.  I've seen a few in the Alta unit but the 3 point rule didn't allow me to shoot them.  I would not have hesitated if I had your tag!  He doesn't need to breed on either.

Thanks, I got about twice as much meat off this buck compared to deer that im used to getting, plus best of all I got to hunt in gods country, thanks for a great hunt.

I've seen and filmed that deer several times throughout the last couple years.   I almost used my tag on him as well.   There are pics of him alive on here somewhere.   Filmed him pretty close to where you shot him.   NICE

Yes.  He has been a two since I have seen him.   He winter ranges in wolf central, so I have always been impressed with him.   Everytime I have seen him he has been bedded, and he doesn't spook real easy, I wonder if thats the tactic since the wolves usually hunt by sight???
