who has successfully called in a cougar? what call did you use? any suggestions from any of you seasoned pros? i reallly would like to get a cougar but have only seen one run across the road...any tips would be appreciated.

ADMIN can we put a sticky on this?  Once the late season ends Im sure a lot of people are going to switch gears to cougars. :twocents:

I think this one is fine as just a normal topic as there has been lots of these post threw out the years. Cougar is classified as other game and is fine in this section :tup:

The biggest producer for us has been the fawn distress. I know of them being called in with a lot of different calls. Just like calling any animal they have to be in the area, in the right mood, and your setup be right.

Fawn calls work great, I called a cat in 2009 on August 1st.  :bash:  :chuckle:
