Macro means up close and personnal right? Next time get the "Macro action shot"....just give the hive a little shake and count to ten....... :P

I surely had the zoom maxed out! haha Im allergic to the little buggers! I went to the other side of the garden after that! 8) I still dont want to stab myself in the rear with the big ol needle i got in my car. So no shakin for me!

Macro is great for those down times between shooting big mammals and your favorite subjects.  Macro is close up, and ideally you want 1:1 magnification.  It's hard to explain what that is, but most lenses are 1:2.  Essentially you can get so close the object is twice the size it is in a normal lens.  Here is a macro shot of a tiny flower.  This flower is about the size of my little finger but it looks huge in the picture.  I don't have the kahunas to shoot bees like you guys, however...
