What is the deal with that deer pic?  Is that like the elk getting hit by a tree?  Am not seeing any footprints in the snow around it?  Am I missing something or is this real?  I figured you had put them there on purpose...........

There was a story bout that this winter...I believe he just came up on the animal and it was that way...the question was if the tree had fallen on it or if it was stuffed in there by an animal, ...at least, that it what i vaguely remember bout it.

Guess I missed that one, or do not remember.  I vaguely remember about the animal stuffing it in there, but do not remember the pic.  Weird to say the least.

The deer pic has a funny story behind it . I had just killed a nice buck in the entiat and of course he died in a hole so we cut him in half and dragged the first half to the top of the ridge . Then i went for the second half and i almost made it to the top when i stopped to take a rest the back end slid all the way back to the bottom . And this is how it landed .

Pretty cool pics guys.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

That's pretty funny Lee, I know there is more than one here that has been hunkered down ans seen an animal but the rifle was just out of reach... :chuckle:

Lee,  It is amazing how often the #2 gets interupted like that.  I think the lesson is; do more sitting with you pants up.  I have always covered way to much country.

My goofiest wildlife pic is from last year's High Hunt.  Little too much celebrating after tagging out.  I did'nt get permission form the group to post the Christmas Card so the hats and noses are added for obvious reasons.   Cheers
