Night Vision Questions (Coyote Hunting)
« on: January 03, 2012, 01:52:58 PM »
Alright, I hunted the potholes area all weekend for Coyotes. During the day I shot at some, and I missed. However, the most frustrating thing was night hunting. We were sitting in a spot, and had 2 yotes in the trees about 80 yards from us, shined them with the red spot, and took a shot. Missed! I had called in another at about 100 yards in another stand, they spooked and ran off. Then we had one 200 yards from us that wouldn't come in.

I have been looking at getting a night vision scope, and had seen some things on the Pulsar N550. I also was looking at adding on an IR light to it. Anyone have feedback on this unit? I have a ton of questions about it.

Anyone else using something else for Night vision and have feedback on it?

Post up your manufacturer and model. And whatever info you got.

I would check out www.nighthogs.com.

I hunted with them back in November and they know their stuff. Very cool guys and they would probably be happy to give you some advice.
