thank you Nikon
« on: January 06, 2012, 10:21:31 AM »
I had to send my spotting scope ( 15-45 X 60 team realtree ss ) in a couple weeks ago. I got it back and the problem I had was not fixed so I contacted them and they advised me to send it back and they would look into it further. So to day I got a brand new pro-staff 16-48 x 65 in the mail  :IBCOOL:  :IBCOOL: It's so much clearer than my old one! for some reason I had developed spot inside and it was starting to bug me to say the least! Way to go Nikon!
I just got off the phone with them, called to tell them thanks and ask if I could get my old one back to have as a back up, they told me that if it was still around not in the garbage they would be sending it back to me  :IBCOOL:  :IBCOOL: I hope it's still around  ;)

heard back from Nikon today and they said " We will be happy to send your old scope back to you! Please used attached label to mail back the replacement scope"

I don't thank so!!!!!!!!!  :chuckle: It was worth a try!
If I was Nikon I would send back the old one with the new one! Just label it so it can't be returned for repair again  :twocents:

I bought a new swavorski range finder and there was a problem it kept saying 28 yards they told me to send it back to RI and they would fix it. Yesterday they e-mailed me and said it was fixed and it was being shipped back to RI from Austria and it;s been 2 months already.

Makes me happy to hear they are good with customer service. I really liked the bang for the buck from them. The free camera was a bonus also  :chuckle:
