John Candy Venison Burger
« on: January 06, 2012, 07:45:43 PM »
A while ago the wife calls me for dinner, wow, she made me a 2 pound venison hamburger, heavy with garlic powder and johnies seasoning, topped with lots of cheddar. I managed to consume about half of it, I'll work on the rest tomorrow.  It made me think of the chunk of meat on the "Great Outdoors".   :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Add some mushrooms and some ketchup and my grandmother would have called that a Meatsa Pie.  I loved those when I was a kid.  Why'd we ever stop making those?
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

It was a three course meal, meat, ketchup, mustard, then I had another bite or two for dessert  :chuckle:

I'm going to finish it for breakfast...

Been there. It helps to eat your vegemite first. Maybe even a little red wine too.
