By the way, one thing that happened when I shot a lot of rounds through my XD-45, is that the crud from the dirty Bullseye powder built up under the Loaded Chamber Indicator until it stayed up, showing one in the chamber even when there wasn't a round in the chamber.  When I cleaned the gun, I had to drive the roll pin out and remove the Loaded Chamber Indicator and its tiny spring to clean the powder residue out of the recess so it would go back down again.  Not a big job, but somewhat of a PITA.
Have you tried a different powder then Bullseye?  Are you shooting cast bullets? Titegroup works really well in my XDM 45 with the Montanna Gold bullets. The only thing my gun didn't like so far is Oregon Trails cast bullets. Tried some test loads and gun would not go into full battery after I shot them. Cleaned afterwards and gun goes into battery. So I will stick with Montanna Golds or another plated bullet.

As soon as I've used up the Bullseye a friend gave me, I'm going to use one of the Ramshot powders.  But at 5 grains per shell, it's going to take a while.
My 45XD is a Dark Earth Bi-tone.  Might be what is now called Coyote Tan?  :dunno:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

I like the Sig 238 for normal carry. I usually take the M9 on day trips to the mountains. The Blackhawk .357 for around camp.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Nothing like a Remington model 700xcr.

Like they say. A 9mm and .40 cal may expand but the .45 sure isn't going to shrink.

Yes.  I'll take the bigger hole anyday.  If you don't need it for concealed, then the drawbacks to the .45 are greatly negated.  Usually a .45 will offer a little better shootability vs. a .40 because of the recoil.
Beat me to it.

I carry XD45 everyday {Little Much} but i love the gun! I shoot about 100 rounds through it a week and it has never failed or miss fired. If your looking to buy a gun i would talk with Discount Gun Sales, there a great bunch of people and ther gun range are well kept and member only. :twocents:
