What can and can't be done ( Coyote) ( A Living Memory Taxidermy) ( Finished)

A lot of times I get questions about what can be fixed and what can't be fixed. Well the best rule of thumb that I can give is if all the pieces are there it can be fixed. A lot of times though when someone brings something into me that is missing parts off of it. I tell them shoot another one or get a replacement.

I got this coyote in and it was supposed to be a life size but with all the sewing I pretty much did not think it would stand the test of time being stretched out over a mannequin so talked quite a bit and decided to go with a rug instead. I posted some pictures of the before hopefully I will be able to post some pictures of the after.

I have a 1/2 pk of smokes, both doors open wide where I can run outside fast and cuss out the trees. And I have two full glasses of ice cold water to sooth my throat from all the yelling.

Adam, that was an exit hole, kind of exploded coming out, with it being a straight cut I think just the kinetic energy from it just kind of ripped it right down the back.

Special T-  I can fix that, but you cannot be present, I usually like to put my hair up and wear my apron when sewing

Sometimes you get an animal that cannot be replaced, this is the first animal he took with his wife, so very easy to shoot another one but it will never have the same meaning...

So not to bad, all done sewing it and now it is on the drying rack. Should only take a couple of days and it will be done then the rugging and fluffing the hair back up on it.

Just like Joe said it was the first animal I shot with my wife so the sentimental aspect is there with this coyote. This is what a 30-.06 does to a coyote at 100 yards. I had already shipped my .243 in my household goods at the time when I was in the middle of getting transferred to Hawaii. I kept the 30.-06 with me to store at my dad's house in Idaho for Elk season which paid off this year.

LMAO, I actually for some reason thought it was a 7mm. So I now know I can still use one of those for coyotes...  And since you asked I am going to really soak it to you on extras, there is no way I am doing all that for a ginger-ale you now owe me a 12pk of ginger-ale. Oh yeah and free room and board when we get our butts over to Hawaii.....
