Flambeau stormfront decoys

I picked up a dozen at Cabelas when they had them on sale for $19.99. The UV paint looks really good, better than the rest of my deeks! I took them out today and it seemed like  the ducks were flairing because of the new decoys. They would commit until they were just outside of shooting range. It was almost like they were looking right at the new deeks and turn tail and go the other way. No one was moving or making noise! I have never had this problem before but the only thing I changed was swapping out a half dozen of my mallards for the new ones. Has anyone else used these deeks? What did you think of them? As usual I am not impressed with how well the paint holds up on them but for $20 I figured it was worth a shot.

I have 2 dozen of them and have birds land in them all the time. Only issue I have is the paint wearing off of them so fast. But for the price Im happy

Are you running a mixture of standard painted deeks and the uv painted ones? I wonder if having the a mixture looked strange to the birds. The paint coming off SUCKS! I found a person on craigslist who paints decoys for $2 each and from the pics they look great! I am thinkin about buyin the uv paint and prepping some deeks for paint and having them painted with the uv paint. I dont think flambeau preps their deeks very well, hence the paint not holding up......
