Eureka Alaska Winter Pics
« on: January 21, 2012, 06:29:56 PM »
Well I went up to my line up north today and it was nice to get out of the wind! About two hours out of town the winds died and it got really nice. Traps had almost 4' of snow on them from this last storm but it was fun just getting out on a beautiful winter day with my youngest daughter! I ended with a pic from my back deck tonight at the house :)

enjoy

If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

It warmed up to -11 below today, balmy nice  :chuckle: It was hard keeping a jacket on my little one. It will get back down tonight to about -38, better than the -42 below at daylight this morning  :yike:

Very nice Teacher. Above normal snowfall in your area this year?

More than normal in the Valley (Wasilla), about double I've been told. The area I took these pic and have one of my trap lines is about 100 miles out of town is spot on for snow fall.
