Coyote Hunt contest Warden Partner needed. Next weekend
« on: January 27, 2012, 12:56:26 PM »
I am entering the Warden, WA Round up coyote hunting contest next weekend.  I live in Lacey, WA and am leaving friday morning.  Take a few hour nap at the Motel 6 in Moses Lake and signing up at the Warden Airport.  It is a 24 hr marathon type hunt from February 3rd 06:00 PM to February 4th 06:00 PM there is a shooting contest banquet and awards ceremony on Saturday evening.  I am staying the night in Moses Lake and coming home Sunday morning.  I am fully outfitted and probably will bring my QUAD.  Your cost would be $100.00 ($50.00 to split entry fee and $50.00 for 2 nights stay in Moses Lake plus any meals).  I want someone with experience and had gear for night and cold weather hunting.  I will be hunting late into the night Friday and come back sleep a few hours and hit it again Saturday till the end of hunting time.  There is prize money for most coyotes, largest male, largest female, and even $100.00 lottery for skunked teams.  They are raffling a .17 HMR with your registration fee.  They are roasting a pig for the banquet and suppose to have some presenter on predator calling.  If serious and interest please post or PM me.  And please no people say yes now and a day before back out.

My calendar shows March 3rd as being a Saturday. Are you going Friday morning March 2nd, or Saturday morning March 3rd? Depending on your answer I may be interested in going if you can't find anyone else. (I say that because I am not experienced or well equipped) I do own a rifle, camo clothing, and cover scent, but not much more than that. So I will totally understand if you would choose a better partner, but I would be happy to be the "consolation prize" partner if nobody else shows interest, and I can fit it into my calendar. :)

The warden roundup is Feb. He meant Feb 3rd and 4th I'm assuming. Does the PC stand for piper cub?

Thanks for catching the date error i posted.  I was thinking about the now cancelled Washington Classic.  The pc stands for "personal computer" as that is as far as I probably will ever get to pilot's license.
