With the proper application and permit you can use conibears underwater, padded legholds and foot snares.

That sucks i see alot of videos on you tube and they seem to work really good.

Ive heard that coyote are very hard to live trap.  Is this true?

yotes are tough to trap all together. as far as legal traps none that i had. i sent all my leg hold and snares back home

Impossible would be closer to the truth. It happens but I don't think there is a dependable method for live trapping coyotes.
