lake chelan lakers

I have been hitting it on the weekends for a few weeks now. I have landed 58 lakers and 1 Burbot to the boat so far. Here is a few pics. One of them is from my cell phone. Didn't get pics of all the fish. forgot my camera a few times.

Nice!  Looks like you guys have them dialed in.     How'd that burbot taste?  I've heard they're really good.

Got some saved.    Hopefully when you get over here this coming weekend we will do a little better than we did this weekend. The fish were not biting as good with all the snow and rain. Had almost 1 in. of snow in the boat on Friday.       Sat. was nice the sun came out and warmed up.

BLKBEARKLR and I  hit the lake again sat. and sunday. Ended up with 4 lakers and 1 salmon on sat. On sunday we ended up with 11 lakers. Lost 2 downrigger balls and about 100 foot of cable. Got snagged on something on the bottom. Got most of them jigging.

Thanks for taking me out, had a good time. Sorry about the downrigger balls. I think the punishment of reeling up one pound cannon balls was a little harsh though

Not your fault with the downrigger balls    It was the cable. time to re-line them.   It was fun. The one pound ball are a pain in the a$$ when you have around 400 feet of line out.

How did those reference pics turn out? I talked to Steve today about that cabin, he is still deciding what he wants  to do. Will keep you updated

its all good, have three more ranches to check out when I get back there, it is kind of like finding a new place to hunt, you got to do some recons first. Only thing that bites is it is a 500 mile drive one way and you still got to pay them.

Wow! Very Nice bunch of fish! Always nice to get a bonus burbot and a King in the mix!
