Here is a good clear wolf track .... UP DATED !!!!!
« on: February 20, 2012, 04:49:04 PM »
I figured I would post this clear wolf track for those who have no clue ..

     SORRY I Forgot the length....hopefully I remember right  :chuckle: A 410 3" measures 2.75 inches ( 2 3/4" )  does that help

That being said I would say a wolf track should be around 3 3/4 to 4 " long from back of pad to the longest toe ..... Roughly !!!!

Thanx,  best reference I have seen yet.

Those pics really show the size and elongation of the wolf prints.  The size will vary quite a bit, but they are BIG...

yeah that's a good track.  I have a pic of one also with my hand right next to it.  That was up the middle fork of the teanaway.  I wonder if the state is going to change the three point minimum for deer in the teanaway after the wolves destroy our herd.  They will need to change it back to any buck because you will be lucky to even see a deer over here in the next few years. :bash: :bash:
