Lake Roosevelt Walleye
« on: March 05, 2012, 10:40:30 AM »
Tried to post this before but would never work hope it does this time. Fished Lake Roosevelt 2 weekends ago. Fishing has been slow compared to last year at this time. We fished Norasada blades and jigs with Jerry Lures jig bodies in multiple colors. Water was in the mid 30's and weather was overcast. I ended up catching this nice 12.4lb Walleye, shows what you can still catch in this awesome fishery...Good fishing everyone

Hell of a walleye, hell of a walleye. Reminds me of the time my friend caught the state record on the Columbia, only to lose it inches from glory. Haunts me still.

LOL definitely a native lol...Norisada baits are carried by Warehouse sports in Spokane or can be ordered off Johns website at www.norisadtackle.com tell him Craig Dowdy at YJ Guide Service sent you...Norisada Blades are really one of the best blades out there and are a quality bait at a good price.. Made right here in Spokane WA. That fish went back in so it could produce more quality fish for everyone else to catch someday..Release those big fish and keep the small ones...
