Post a picture and many should be able to help you out.  Skeet / Trap etc. may be based off the comb height, offset, stock etc.  There is several options to help you distinguish.  Also in many cases it may be stamped on the side of the receiver.  You may have a 870 Wingmaster set up for Skeet? Or a plane jane 870 Wingmaster.  You can also buy a gun blue book and look through it.

Most 870 Skeet models say "Skeet" right on the barrel.

It's definitely not a skeet model, unless the barrel has been changed. A 30 inch full choke would be for trap, not skeet.

A skeet shotgun would probably come with a 26 inch barrel and a skeet choke (similar to improved cylinder choke.)

you've probably just got an older non-magnum wingmaster.  all the wingmasters come with the high grade bluing and walnut stocks.  the trap models usually have a monte carlo type buttstock.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun
