Tikka Rifles

Anyone not like them?  What caliber/cartridge do you have?

Thinking about a 25-06.

I had an early Tikka .243 marketed by Ithaca as LSA 55.  Great gun, should not have sold it.  I still have several early Sakos, kind of the Grandfather of the Tikkas.  Good tough shooters.  I am not convinced the Beretta connection has been positive.

I just cant figure out why some models are not available in all the listed calibers.....I'd be very interested in owning one of the varmint models, but I would like 270 or 7mag......

I have a couple a .243 and a .270WSM.. Both are tack drivers. I did put a Limbsaver recoil pad on both. I think they are well worth having.

I have them in .223, .22-250 and .270.  Great rifles.  Light and tack drivers.  May look at going with a .270 shortmag on the next purchase.

I had a 300 WSM, sold it to my cousin and he loves it. I would have good groups at the range, but in the field I was missing and or wounding game. I think that I just wasn't used to such a light gun, and it didn't fit me that great. Went back to my Browning BAR in the 300 win mag, its a load to pack around the mountains, but I am consistant with it. The Tikka is a great gun, just wasn't a great gun for me.

i have a left handed tika t3 in 30-06, i freaken love it, in my opion its the best gun out there,i have looked at the 25-06 also and looks like a very sweet gun, hopefully getting one soon!

T3 in 25-06 is an excellent choice.  If you plan to do much elk hunting you might want to go up a caliber or two.  For deer/antelope that's a superb combination.

I have a 7mm mag. LOVE the rifle.

i gotta 270wsm and it shoots great.  i got the t3 lite and i had to put a limbsaver on it.  great rifle for the money.

  Have a Sako 7mm and a 22-250, both older mid 1980's. Both shoot well under a inch group at a hundred. At that time I think Sako was touted as the most accurate over the counter production  guns available. I'm sure some things have changed, but sounds like they are keeping up with their old reputation.
 I agree with Bob, you might consider going up in caliber if you are looking for an all around gun.

I have a t3 in 270, very light and very accurate, a very good factory trigger too.

We have 3 and plan on adding number 4 here in the next few months. If I don't buy to many guns/ or win  to many guns at the banquests

Very nice rifles. they must have the smoothest actions in the industry. very accurate.
