AZ SB 2072
« on: March 13, 2012, 06:06:09 AM »
Like many of you, David Allen, CEO & President of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, is tired of seeing tags disappear from the general pool and into the hands of the highest bidder. Similar to what has happened in Utah, a group in Arizona is going after 350 tags in Arizona to be auctioned off. Here's what he has to say about HB 2072 in a letter to Arizona Governor Brewer.

The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

Can you be more specific. This organization seemed to have a pretty good goal. I do not find anything online that says they are corrupt? I am just curious. I thought the wolf fight was a good thing.

They both have close ties to each other and have a number of the same people representing them. They both have admitted to try and kill the simpson-tester rider that got us the wolf seasons  we have now (not help fight for it if thats what you though) and both support AZSB 2072 which steals tags from the general public to auction off for there funds. It all boils down to money, politics and greed.

I am in agreement about not taking any more than a very small handful of tags for governor tags etc. We do not need to have all our wildlife sold off to the highest bidder.

However, I need to see your proof about not supporting the wolf bill. Not saying what happened, but you need to show some proof when you make claimns like that.
