If you are happy shooting a1 1/2- 2 1/2 year old buck - then it would be a good hunt if you hunt hard.  But if you want to find a mature buck, there just arent very many of them around that area any more.  I hunt elk in that area every year.  I havent bought a deer tag for over 10 years and havent regretted it one time.

Me too...Maybe we're just too used to WA and our acute lack of game!! :chuckle: :chuckle:

 :yeah: thats why i moved to Idaho!  :chuckle: well and for work too i guess. lol. been out a few times in a draw unit not to far from town (twin falls) and seen tons of mulies and speed goats. cant wait for the melt to do some scouting
