O.K Just brewed up a pot of my elk stew and I am here to tell ya it is off the chart

1 1/2 to 2 lbs vension
2 table spoons of olive oil
3 cups apple cider
2 table spoons cider vinegar
2 teaspoons of salt
1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
3 cups of chopped potateos
1 cup of chopped bell peppers
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 cup of frozen peas
1 cup chopped carrots
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup of apple cider
2 Bay leaves
1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
In a skillet add 1/4 stick of butter and some olive oil ... brown meat add pepper salt .. do not drain ... dump all the juices into your crock pot... in the crock pot add your apple cider .. then dump in your meat and let simmer until it is hot ... then add all your veggies and the rest of the seasonings... let cook for about 1 hour and let it get hot ...then take your 1/4 cup of cold cider and add your flour ...mix really well ...then slowly stir into the pot ...let cook a couple hours and ENJOY ....Believe me I take my cookin seriously ////
