Get together
« on: July 17, 2007, 08:58:27 PM »
How many want to try to pull a get together this year.  Lets throw some ideas around.  I think it would be fun to get to see some faces that go with these screen names.

I'd be in...if it's on the wet side. it'd be cool to have a shindig before hunting season. put faces to names and compare notes on the upcoming season.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Well hell, HuntWa must be right down the road from me since we are both in Kirkland so I guess I would be there!  ;) It don't matter to me where it is, I would do my best to be there.

Not down the road it turns out. More like stone's throw distance. I could throw a rock out my window and you could see it land  :chuckle:

September and 1/2 of Oct shot for one thing or another, but after that I am free and clear unless something goes to hell in Michigan.

The WA chapter of the North American Hunting Club will be having its 4th annual GT near Thorp. It's dates are looking to be about the second or third weekend in June '09 when kids are out of school. As far as the NAHC goes the WA GT is the biggest and most talked about in the country.
God Bless,
Scott
