Plunker weights
« on: March 17, 2012, 07:22:04 PM »
I was going to give a go at the Bonneville Dam for Springers.  Does anyone make 6 oz and 5 oz weights for plunking that I can buy cheaper then I can get at sportco...

No kidding! Its criminal trespass now.And they do prosecute. They will probably prosecute for theft as well. The railroads dont take kindly to this anymore. The whole Homeland Security thing really kicked it off.

I already thought about that.  So I am off to an area that is pretty good for not seeing people on the tracks.

lumber company tracks, no hole just tie them on, I do it just like a drift tie up hang the weight from a three way or drop line of light weight so it can break off.. purty simple. I used to use them a lot for plunking and sturgeon on the Cowlitz and Columbia.
