NICE FREAKIN BOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rockin: :brew: :brew: im jealous, i love duckworths

Its funny. Way back when I was a kid,we weren't poor, but we didn't have a bunch of money. We'd go fishing to Eastern Washington and I'd see all the pretty Duckworths as we were fishing off the beach and I swore someday I'd be "rich" enough to own one.

Here I am 25 years later and I finally own a Duckworth. I didn't set out to buy a Duckworth because of what I told myself all those years ago. It just worked out that way.

I sold my '06 North River to buy this one.  I liked my North River so much I just assumed I'd buy another when the time came. The quality of North River boats has gone down considerably in the 6 years I owned mine.

I looked at them last spring and then again for about 30 seconds at the boat show. The quality has gone way down while the price has gone way up. Didn't take long to realize I wouldn't be buying another.

That is good to know because once I sell my 34 Tollycraft, I was looking to get a North River 26-28' Seahawk OS set up exactly like your Duckworth.  I will take a real good look at the Duckworths.  I actually like the look of the Duckworth's better and so does the wife.  I also noticed that NR is throwing Hondas on their new boats.  I'm sure they would swap out for a Yamaha but I'm not a fan of Honda outboards.  Thanks for the heads up on the NR guality.

Well congratulations!

That is a beautiful boat and you are a lucky guy.  I hope it is "fishy" and gets lots of blood on it in the next few years.

Awesome boat!    Someday I hope to be able to afford have that boat.  ;) There now I am covered for later in life, when I go buy a boat.
