My backcountry trophies are not measured in bone but in horseback riding hours.  This trip we rode about 30 hours total and are looking forward to this year's trip with 4 of my sisters!  Really love this thread!  Great photos!  Please don't stop showing the scenery pictures on account of a few jerks.  I love the pictures. 

Right around 7500 ft or so on my horse.

Just over Cathedral Pass.



A deer in camp, we dubbed her Patch ( scar on shoulder) she was in camp every day.  My trophy deer this trip.

Love the pic's, I can almost smell the high alpine air. I am soooo ready to start the hunting season, this is a great thread. I wish I'd have packed a camera in my years past, I could have posted a few. I'm glad you guys did anyway.  C'mon september!!!!!
