Powerbait and worms worked well for us last year up near the bridge at the Spokane River. My dad talked to our neighbor a couple weeks ago and he said the trout fishing has been really slow this year. Not sure if it's picked up yet.

Trout fishing is slow in the Ft Spokane area for the most part. You have days when you can pick up a few. Seems like most of the fishing is down past Lincoln right now. Seems like the trout fishing has gone down hill since they dumped the river for down for repairs last year. I've heard they flushed alot of them down stream. Good luck down there...

Was very slow over there 2 weeks ago. Only 2 fish in 3 days of fishing from shore on res side and Spring Canyon area. Ruor has it lots of fish went over the dam last spring/winter. Definately an off year.

When I was younger and went to Roosevelt all the time we always had real good luck right on the point of the next bay to the north of seven bays marina. You can drive out there and park and walk down to the beach. But it has been 15 years since I.fished at all...
on a side note there are deer everywhere around there. Be good fun with the kids to.watch them and take pics!
