Bench Leg Buck Areas /leases
« on: March 25, 2012, 07:43:08 PM »
I have hunted bench bucks up in the Tat and some of Goldendale for many years. Hunting both private lands and public lands, but private lands are my favorate. I like having a good spot that I can do whatever I need to be successful, without worrying about others spoiling or stealing my spot.

I have found that as of late, door nocking is not working like it used too, maybe because they get their door pounded off just before deer season, I dont know.

I was wondering if anyone knows of some good old boy farmers in need of some work for hunting trade, or who may be into Poor Guy lease hunts. I used to buck hay, and mend fence for the rights to bowhunt up on the high prairie...and boy did I love it. I really like shilling road, but I am very open to other locations. At most I will take a buddy with me..and I want to take my wife and 2 daughters rifle deer hunting too.

If anyone can offer some ideas or information, I would greatly appreciate any information.

The main problem with that area is there isn't a lot of those "good old boys" left.  We are getting flooded with greenies up this way that hate hunters.  Good luck.  :twocents:

Tons of people with your same ideas. We have a lot of ground and get pounded with requests year round. I also have more then a couple leases in this area. There is no poor man leases in this area :chuckle: Lot's of family farms saved for family's and friends. Good luck on your search but you have a slim to none chance in there areas and slim is walking out the door :chuckle:
