Rangefinder

Hey,

Just wondering who uses a Rangefinder when they are bowhunting.  I have been wanting one for a while, but not sure if it would be worth the money.  Just wanting maybe some people's inputs.

A rangefinder is definantly one of my "essential" bowhunting items!

Very worth the money!  I use mine on every animal I am going to shoot. better to know the exact range than shooting with the wrong pin.

For sure it is a big part of bowhunting now days and they are for sure a great tool to have and use. If I am hunting with a compound I use one. I don't use one when I hunt with my trad bows.

I hunted without one for almost 10 years and now that I own one I never head into the woods without one. I even use it on scouting trips. I guess the yardage then laser it to see how accurate my eye is!

I don't use one in the sense the question meant.  I take my range finder with me when I scout areas to get an idea of shots from point to point, so I know a given distance from any shooting spot I intend to use.  I don't stalk though, and if I did stalk I would use one for sure.  Having 2-3 spots scouted and knowing ranges from my intended shooting position to stationary points (specific trees, bigass rocks...) in each spot is plenty comfortable for me.

i yhought you lost yours in oregon black tail hunting with a riffle good thing we had a backup what was it 278 yards with ur 243 dead buck get out of the way its my turn

I didn't loose it I donated a $400 piece of equipment to the high country of Oregon! But I dont plan on doing anymore donateing like that!
