Peep globe combo for Traditions Vortek
« on: March 29, 2012, 09:12:13 AM »
I was curious if there is anyone out there that has put a Williams peep (or any other peep) on a Vortek.

It has been a couple years and I was curious if anyone else has found a peep/globe combo that works for the Vortek?

I really do not know that much about a Vortek, but if you can install a Weaver style scope block on it you then can install a NECG Weaver style peep on the block.

This is a picture of the NECG installed in a Weaver style block.

Thanks Sabotloader. I called Williams and was told they don't have anything for the Traditions. They don't have a low enough profile globe for their rear peeps. There isn't enough adjustment.

I was pretty sure Williams did not have anything. The NECG might work it come with 2 different aperture posts

Yup, that's what my friend Andy used for his. That and a Lyman 17a globe front with Williams shorty dovetail ramp base.
