I have the normal a7 270wsm and it is a outstanding gun. I shot 6 big game animals with it last year and it is a tack driver. I have been bidding on a few of the tecomate's in the 270wsm and 300wsm as well. Just going for a bit much still.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

I had to play ninja and sneak into the room to get the bow with my load data in it :chuckle: My a7 has flat out amazed me. I loaded up a middle of the road load for it when I first got it. I dropped them in and it loves them! I have not even played with any other loads! That is a first for me with a gun. All the groups I have put on paper have been around 1/2-3/4" at 100 yards. Some even less! I am loading a 140g nosler accubond/ winchester case/ COL 2.860"/ CCI 250/ and 61g of H4831 sc. I have not even played with any other loads in it yet. I don't know if I even will :chuckle: Wait of course I will :chuckle: Don't know if it can get much better!

Great set up!

I gave that exact same gal a real hard look as a new alpine bear/goat companion.  Only thing I could find wrong for me was the B&C stock.  They are a little straight for my style and physical build.  I require a bit more drop at heel.  Has more to do with my eyes being too close together and having a long face.  The sweet looking girls don't much care for that.  For someone less of a physical freak than myself she should be a damn fine choice.  Fantastic scope choice for that gun too!

I am definately jealous.  I've been looking for the right one for quite some time now.  Still having to settle for kicking the same old bag-o-dirt every bear season.

What are your plans for her maiden voyage?
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I got the the gun for 1200 and the scope for 600. Skagit arms is right off highway 20 and I-5. it is part of holiday sports. as for her maiden voyage besides the range she's gonna have to wait until August to get after the bears that got very lucky last year or I'm feeling like a sheep tag is as good as mine this year with five points :chuckle:

I'm jealous , you're a lucky man, she's a beauty.  I've been trying to get one for a long time ....................... someday I too hope to know the sweet satisfaction of owning one of those.
