Did everyone get selected for Deer?  Everyone I know did.
Is there just more tags than people applying?

Me, hunting partner, and dad all got selected for Deer. I had 4 points and didn't pull the elk. Dad had 3 and missed it. I doubt I'll ever draw the multi-elk tag. I'm happy with deer this year tho!  :IBCOOL:

How many people will pay the $182 for the multi-season deer, and then kill a deer on September 1st?   :chuckle:

Four points for elk, still a no go. (At least I am $182 richer.)

5 points for elk and no luck!

I think everyone got drawn for the damn deer though.

I bet deer was undersubscribed, with the economy and the price of the license it is pretty spendy for a resident deer. Gives a guy lots of hunting time though.

Deer should have been undersubscribed by 1000 or more.

We're talking lots of $ for WDFW: $6 for the application and another $180 for the permit.  With 7000 "lucky" souls participating just for deer (if that's the number), that's about $1.3 million. :yike:

This is the first year that I have put in for the multi-season tags and I drew deer.  I'm pretty stoked. :IBCOOL:

Sounds like the WDFW's popularity rating went up by quite a bit today!
